DEFENSMART does not offer text alerts. These SMS Terms & Conditions are retained for historical consent records. They do not enroll anyone in a text-message program. Inquiry notifications are sent by email. They supplement the DEFENSMART Terms of Service.

DEFENSMART previously described operational text notifications for participating attorneys. That program is discontinued. DEFENSMART does not send inquiry alerts or account notices by text.

Optional participation

SMS participation is not available. Providing a telephone number does not constitute SMS consent and does not enroll an attorney in text alerts. Consent to SMS is not a condition of participating in the DEFENSMART attorney network. Inquiries are delivered by email.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out or get help

• Reply STOP to opt out.
• Reply START does not turn text alerts back on.
• Reply HELP for help.

Opting out of SMS does not cancel the attorney's DEFENSMART account or other notification methods such as email.

Delivery

Delivery is subject to carrier and network availability. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. DEFENSMART does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or received.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and SMS consent records are handled as described in the DEFENSMART Privacy Policy.
